Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Manek moved to Hartford, CT, at age 17 to attend Trinity College. There he won four consecutive national championships as a member of the varsity squash team. He recently retired from the SDA Pro Doubles Tour, where he held the #1 world ranking for six consecutive years starting in 2017.
Inspired by his global travels as a young athlete, Manek developed a love for real estate, and began his career in residential sales in 2021 – quickly becoming a rising star in the industry and breaking records along the way. Selling over $30 million of real estate in only 2 years, Manek has already achieved tremendous success.
Years of preparing on and off the court as a professional athlete and then Head Professional at the Racquet & Tennis Club in NYC has created the perfect training platform for a successful transition to a career in real estate sales. His ability to get to know and read people – their strengths, skills, considerations, motivations, and unique patterns, paired with Manek’s attention to detail, work ethic, and creative thinking, has allowed him to consistently create a winning game plan for each of his clients.
Manek recognizes the significance of home buying as a financial investment and as a major milestone in life. Whether it was his first home (turned investment) in Williamsburg, or his new home with his fiancée, Tessa and elderly dog Mikey in Manhattan, he understands how personal, strategic and often intense the experience can be.
